Christmas Greetings

 Good Morning Peeps

I have a Christmas card for you today, it is for my first challenge at Girlz Creative Christmas Challenge blog where I now have a position on their Design Team.  The challenge for this week is to make a shaped card.

The background paper is from my stash and I used a Whimsy gnome stamp coloured with Copics, I cut him out and put him on some foam pads onto a circle of embossed card, the frame is cut with a Tonic die and I added some stars and snowflakes, glitter and a sentiment.

I enjoy making Christmas cards and if you do to please take a look at the inspiration from the Design Team on the blog and maybe join in.

Enjoy your Monday!

Fairy Fantasy

 Good Morning Peeps,

Well I have seen the Orthopaedic Surgeon and it turns out that the half knee replacement I had 7 years ago will have to come out and be replaced with a full knee replacement as the other half now has arthritis but before that I have to have two operations on my eye for my Glaucoma (also seen my Eye Consultant last week) in the next month or two, so it looks like I am going to be spending quite a lot of time at the hospital this year.  I can walk a little bit better now with the brace on my knee and one crutch so now it's just wait and see.

Anyway back to today and our new challenge at Fab'n'Funky where our host for the next two weeks is our lovely Buffy with her choice of:

FANTASY
(so let's see your Fairies, Dragons, Unicorns etc.)

For my card I used fairy stamp from Lavinia with a little bit of setncilling behind it, the papers are from my stash and I added some flowers cut with a Lisa Horton die, the sentiment is a very old stamp.

Please take a look at the chllenge blog for some beautiful inapiration by the Design Team and we would love to see you joining in this week.

Have a good day!

Sunflower

Good Morning Peeps,

Happy New Year - as this is my first post of 2025.

We had a lovely Christmas with the family and I thought I would share a new photo of our granddaughters, I don't get many opportunities to get them all together for a photo but we had a big get together over Christmas.  It's quite a few years since I shared a photo of them and they are now all grown up and young ladies.

We have a new challenge starting today over on Fab'n'Funky where I am hosting with my choice of:

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

I thought it would be nice to cheer up any dull days in January with some bright and colourful cards.

I treated myself to a set of pencils before Christmas and tried them out on this sunflower stamp from Crafter's Companion, I quite enjoyed using them but need a lot more practice.  The paper is by Catherine Pooler and I added a sentiment and some ribbon.

We hope to see you joining in our challenge.

Enjoy your day!
