 Good Morning Peeps,

Hope everyone is well and having a good week.  Been quite a busy week here for us with one thing and another, one granddaughter had a birthday and eldest granddaughter Zoe set off on her travels for 4 months, Singapore first stop then Kuala Lumpur, Thailand and everywhere else in Asia, we have had some photos and she seems to be having a good time.  This week is  bit quieter and thankfully a lot warmer after the snow and ice of last week.

Well back to today and our new challenge at Fab’n’Funky which is brought to us by our lovely Neva with her theme choice of  New Beginnings

For my card I used a Joffe image, coloured with Copics, background paper is by Polkadoodles and I added some die cuts and a sentiment,

Shaped Cards

 Good Morning Peeps

Well here we are my first post of 2023.  I do hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

It’s time to start our challenges over on Fab’n’Funky and our first one is brought to you by our lovely Chris and she has challenged us to make a shaped card (no squares or rectangles).

I made this shaped card (no idea what shape it is called), but I scored my A4 card and folded into this shape,  my image is from Polkadoodles and I coloured her with Copics, added some flowers cut with  Lisa Horton die and added a sentiment.  Sorry about the quality of the picture but it hasn’t stopped raining here for days and it has been so dark it had to be taken with the light on, I don’t know why the background looks blue it is white!

Santa Claus

Good Morning Peeps,

 

Another very cold day today but at least some of the ice and snow has gone, I did get out for some shopping yesterday when it warmed up a little but today looks like a day for staying at home and keeping warm.

 

We have a new challenge starting today over on Fab'n'Funky, this will be our last challenge of this year so hope to see you joining in.  Our lovely Chris has set the challenge for us this week a nice easy one:

 

Last Minute Christmas Makes

 

A couple of quick and simple makes using a Whimsy stamp coloured with Copics with a few stamped snowflakes and a sentiment with a little added glitter.

Christmas Postbox

 Good Afternoon Peeps,

    Well I have been absent for the past 13 days as we have been without the internet.  You don't realise how much you use it until it is no longer there and there are so many things you can't do.  Now it's a case of putting new passwords in everywhere and I will be round to catch up on my commenting as soon as I am sorted.

Anyway back to today and the start of a new challenge at Fab & Funky where this week our lovely Ginny is host with her choice of:

Die-cuts and Embossing only no stamped images

For my card I used an embossed backbround, a tonic die to create the Christmas post box and a Sue Wilson sentiment die, with a little glitter added here and there.

It's Snow Time

We have a new challenge starting today over on Fab'n'Funky where for the next two weeks I am the host with my choice of challenge of:

 

CHRISTMAS ANIMALS

 

 For my card I used another Pink Ink Stamp ( I just love these cute mouse stamps) I followed the colouring on the stamp packaging using my Copics, I layered  onto a die by Phill Martin using silver card, the backing paper is by Crafter's Companion,  I added a little glitter and white gel pen and finished with a couple of sentiments.

Balloon Mouse

 Good Afternoon Peeps,

Well here we are at the weekend, we seem to have had a busy week with one thing and another so I thought I would do a little crafting today but first I would like to share a card I made for our youngest granddaughter Lauren's birthday last week.

I used a Pink Ink Stamp - Balloon Mouse - coloured with Copics, the paper is a digi paper from Digi Doodle Studios and I used Sue Wilson die scallop slimline rectangle, the sentiment is a Uniko stamp.

For my card I used Sue Wilson's Slimline Scallop Rectangle Dies and a Sue Wilson Happy Christmas Die, papers were from my stash and I added snowflakes cut with s Crafters Companion die and then glittered with Diamond Frost.
