My Friend the Ladybird

I made this card for the Penny Black Challenge which was to have at least three shapes on your card, I also thought it would fit Rainbow Lady's Challenge which was Four Legged Friend. The stamp is Penny Black "Garden Gossip" coloured with Whispers Strokes and blended with a blender pen, the ladybird is coloured with Sakura Glaze. The background paper is a small piece left in my stash make unknown. I cut a heart from a piece of pearl paper which had been embossed on the Cuttlebug and edged with a silver peel off and added a sentiment and bow. I cut a scalloped circle with nestibilities and added some Flora Doodle flowers with a centre brad. I finished with some corners, a piece of beige lace and three blue buttons.

  4. Wonderful card Pat - you've done a lovely job on the colouring. I have the whispers strokes pens but never feel as confident with them as I do with other media - maybe I need to stop being a wimp!
