Sunflowers

The weather has been so nice this week that I just haven't felt like card-making but decided today that I really must get started. This card is for Rainbow Lady's Challenge which is Sunflowers. Luckily a couple of weeks ago I bought a Magnolia Stamp - Tilda with Sunflower, I coloured this with a mixture of watercolour pencils, Tombow and Whispers pens. I used a sunflower paper by Anna Griffin and a dotty one from Bo Bunny which as it was double sided I turned the corner down and added a brad with a rub-on on it. The border was made with the lace doily punch and I added some ribbon and buttons.

Charisma Cardz

Charisma Cardz Challenge this week is "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend". I decided to use this Penny Black Christmas stamp, for the earrings, bracelet and ring I attached clear adhesive stones to represent the diamonds, I coloured with Sakura Gelly Glaze pens and added a little glitter. Papers were HOTP and Anna Griffin, I cut the flourish on the Cuttlebug with a new Quickutz die and added Prima holly leaves, some more adhesive stones and a little more glitter.

Birthday Card

Today's card is for my granddaughter Jude who will be eight on Tuesday. I am also entering it for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge which is for a celebration card to mark their first birthday, and Stamp with Fun which is "dots". The image is a Penny Black stamp coloured with Sakura Gelly Glaze and Tombow markers I then sprayed it with Crafter's Companion Spray and Sparkle silver, and added some adhesive gems. Layered onto striped paper which I had put through the cuttlebug in the swiss dots folder together with the plain pink piece. The papers were Kelly Panacci, g.c.d. Studios and the dotty one from my stash. I used the doily lace punch and added ribbon, flowers and sentiment. I left a space by Happy Birthday to put the number on for Jude's birthday.

Baby Girl Card

This card is for my DIL's sister who has just had a little girl and they are calling her Erin. The backing paper was just plain pink with a border cut with the lace doily punch, the other papers are all from a Forever Friends pad. I used the toppers from a Kanban concept sheet and added ribbon, gingham flower, teddy, button and pearls from my stash.

Ann's Digi Challenge

On the forum I belong to Ann set us a challenge to make a card with her digi images and papers. I coloured the bowl of fruit and border fruit with watercolour pencils, layered onto the pink paper with brads. I used the green paper on the card and put the border image on a piece of the pink paper which I had edged with the Martha Stewart Lace Doily punch and created corners using the same paper and punch. Finished with three Prima flowers with adhesive stones and a small "Just for You" stamp.

Sugar Bowl Challenge 12

At last I have managed to make a card, since my holiday I just don't seem to have had any spare time and what spare time I have had I have spent outside in the lovely weather.

Well this card is for the Sugar Bowl Challenge 12. A sketch by Lia and to include blue and green in your card.
