For my card I used an Angie Blom digi and coloured with Copics, the papers are by Catherine Pooler and I added a computer generated sentiment and some enamel dots.

Happy New Year - as this is my first post of 2025.

 

We had a lovely Christmas with the family and I thought I would share a new photo of our granddaughters, I don't get many opportunities to get them all together for a photo but we had a big get together over Christmas.  It's quite a few years since I shared a photo of them and they are now all grown up and young ladies.

 

We have a new challenge starting today over on Fab'n'Funky where I am hosting with my choice of:

ALL THINGS BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL

I thought it would be nice to cheer up any dull days in January with some bright and colourful cards.

 

 

 I treated myself to a set of pencils before Christmas and tried them out on this sunflower stamp from Crafter's Companion, I quite enjoyed using them but need a lot more practice.  The paper is by Catherine Pooler and I added a sentiment and some ribbon.

Happy Birthday

Good Morning Peeps, 

I do hope everyone is well and keeping warm.  It has gone really cold here and we had snow on Monday night, most of the roads are clear but there is still snow on all the surrounding hills.

We have a new challenge today over on Fab’n’Funky where our lovely Neva has set the challenge of “Use Dies or Punches”.

I used an Happy Birthday die from Crafters Companion and cut out the HAPPY in pastel colours, the backing paper is by Catherine Pooler and I used a die by Lisa Horton for the flowers.

It's Wednesday and our summer break is over so we have a new challenge for you over on Fab'n'Funky where this week is our 600th Challenge and to celebrate this we have a great prize for one lucky winner:

My card is one I made for my granddaughter Abbie whose birthday was in August.

 

 The image and sentiment are stamps from Pink Ink and I coloured with Copics, the background paper is by Catherine Pooler and I added a picket fence die cut by Spellbinders, flower dies by MFT and a Sue Wilson circle die.

Birthday Card

I made this card for my daughter's birthday a couple of weeks ago.  The image is by Sizix - 49 and Market which included the stamp and die, I coloured with Copics, the papers are by MFT and Catherine Pooler.  I used a deckle edge square die by Honey Bee to cut the squares out and added a sentiment.

The sun is shining it's a beautiful day so I thought I would treat you to something cooling - a Christmas card!

 

 I used a Penny Black image, coloured with Copics and added spots with a white Sakura pen, circle snowflake die by Phill Martin and bp by Catherine Pooler, sentiment by C.C.Designs.

I used this cute little elephant digi from Polkadoodles and coloured her with Copics, the backing paper is by Catherine Pooler, I cut the balloons with a free magazine die and stamped the sentiment with a very old stamp set with no brand name on attached a foam number 5 which I coloured with Copivs and drew some strings from the balloons.

I used this beautiful digi from Sheepski, coloured with Copics and paper pieced her dress with some very old Hot Off the Press paper from my stash and added a couple of gems on her belt, the background paper is by Catherine Pooler, the flowers are cut with a Lisa Horton die with some Nuvo Drops in the centre and I added a Happy Birthday sentiment.

I hope you are all having a good weekend.   I have done  a little crafting and decided to make a Valentine card, I don't usually make Valentine cards but I just wanted to use this cute LOTV digi that I have only used once before quite a few years ago and it's such a sweet image.

from a beautiful sunny but very cold Lancashire, I hope you are all enjoying this sunny spell too.
