Time Travel

The new Tag It Challenge on Dragonsdream this week is "Time and Tide". For my interpretation I made the background of my tag with a set of Hero Arts "Postage Stamp" stamps, stamped in different colours and embossed with clear powder, I added an embellishment of a pocket watch which I cut from a sheet I have had for ages in my stash finished with a piece of string to hopefully give the impression of a luggage label.

Buttons and Bows

Rainbow Lady's Challenge this week is "B is for ....." so I decided for simply buttons and bows. The background paper is from Far and Away - Asia, I added three rows of plain paper using the Martha Stewart doily punch again!! (sorry about that but quite simply can't stop using it since I bought it - I love it) added a ribbon and bows, buttons and Prima flowers with button in the centre.

Woof

I made this card for the Charisma Cardz Challenge which this week was a sketch, but also as the Penny Black Saturday Challenge was "Anything Goes" only stipulation being to use a Penny Black Stamp, thought this would cover both challenges. I used the Penny Black stamp "Dressed Up!" coloured with Whispers Strokes, and layered onto circles and scalloped circles cut with Nestibilities, I also stamped onto shrink plastic for the embellishment. The papers were from "All My Memories" and the corner die cut on the Cuttlebug.

Stamp With Fun Challenge 3

This week's challenge at Stamp With Fun is a sketch. For the image I used a Sugar Nellie stamp coloured with Whispers Strokes, the papers used were mixed including - Anna Griffin, K & Co and a free paper from a magazine I also used the Swiss Dots embossing folder on the Cuttlebug. Punched with my lace doily punch from Martha Stewart, finished with Prima flowers, a sentiment and some pearls.

Blossom Tag

This is my tag for the pre-challenge at DragonsDream Tag it on Challenge. The background was made using Cosmic Shimmers (though it doesn't show up too well on the photo) I stamped an acrylic stamp I have in Versafine Olympia Green and embossed with clear powder I then attached some small flowers onto the image. I finished with a couple of silver peel off corners and two pieces of ribbon.

Truly Scrumptious Challenge 5

Card for the Truly Scrumptious Challenge, a sketch which has to be made into a card for a child. I used a Penny Black stamp coloured with Whispers pens and edged with Distress Ink Pad Milled Lavender, I also stamped it onto shrink plastic to make a little embellishment. The background paper was Stamp Effects by Scrappy Cat and as it was double sided I put a piece of the plain side through the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, the other papers were bits and pieces from my stash, I used the Martha Stewart Lace Doily Punch and finished with Prima flowers, bows and sentiment.

Sketch and Stash No. 8

Card for Sketch and Stash Challenge 8. I used a new Sugar Nellie stamp - "Demure" coloured with Whispers markers and I then applied a layer of 3d gloss. Backing papers were all unknown from my stash except the green one which was a K & Co, I used my new Martha Stewart Lace Doily Punch along the bottom of the paper. Finished with two different Prima flowers, ribbon and adhesive stones. I think this card will be perfect for one of my granddaughters, Emma, who is 4 next month.
