Stamp With Fun Challenge 7

I have made this card for the Stamp with Fun Challenge which this week is Shabby/Vintage. The only stamp I thought of as vintage was this one which is actually a Christmas stamp, it is from Personal Impressions and I stamped it in Versafine Vintage Sepia and lightly coloured just the ribbons and shoes, I tore the edges and colured with Distress Inks Antique Linen and Vintage Photo. The backing papers were 7 Gypsies and K and Co. I added Prima flowers and brads, punched branches, lace and pearls.

Blue Oriental Tag

Dragonsdream Challenge this week is for an Oriental blue tag. I stamped the background with a bamboo stamp in Versamark Atlantic Blue. The lady is stamped in Versafine Onxy Black and coloured with a mixture of Sakura and Whispers pens, I added three flowers and a small fan and writing which I found on a Meryle Holland sheet, and finished with a blue ribbon.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Penny Black Challenge this week is a recipe - 3 flowers, 2 papers and 1 charm/brad. I used Sakura Gelly Glaze Orange to colour my image, not a colour I use often but thought it would go with the papers, which were from Bo Bunny and s.e.i. I layered my three flowers together - two from Prima and one in the centre unknown from my stash with the branch behind punched with Leone Em punch. I added a metal butterfly on ribbon and a sentiment to finish.

Pretty in Pink

My second card today is for the Sugar Bowl Challenge which this week was a sketch and to add buttons. My stamp is "Demure" coloured with Sakura, Tombow and Whispers pens then sprayed with Silver Spray and Sparkle from Crafters Companion. The backing papers are from Basic Grey and Hot off the Press. The flowers are Prima with a brad in the centre and I added three pink buttons.

Lady in Lilac

This is for Rainbow Lady's Challenge, a card 4 x 4 inches and include some eyes was this week's challenge. The image was from a decoupage sheet to which I added a small feather and adhesive stone. The papers were from my stash and one was from a magazine, I finished with a flower, pearl and ribbon. The light today is not very good and consquently the photo has not come out well.

A Hint of Pink

The Penny Black Challenge this week is to use Black, White and one other colour so I decided on pink for mine. I love monochrome so really enjoyed making this card. I coloured my Penny Black stamp with Whispers Strokes and layered onto card with brads. The card was all from Kanban, I added two rows of lace cut with the Martha Stewart punch, added some flowers which I think were Flora Doodles and used my new Leone Em Ash Branch punch to add a few branches behind the flowers. Finished with a sentiment and a black adhesive stone in the flowers.

I have made this card for my daughter's birthday which is tomorrow, unfortunately she is not very well today the children have had "a bug" which she has now caught and is in bed, hopefully she will be better for her birthday.
The image is a Sugar Nellie Gorjuss Girls which I coloured with Tombow pens and Whispers strokes, edged with Antique Linen Distress Ink and added eyelets. The papers are Bo Bunny, Basic Grey and Little Yellow Bicycle. I made the side border with Martha Stewart's Doily punch and wrapped ribbon round. Finished with Prima Flowers with Pearls in the centre and a sentiment. Seems quite pale on the photo but is actually quite bright colours.

Thank You

The Charisma Cardz Challenge this week is to make anything with Thank You on the front, so I decided for a change to make a Pillow Box to put a gift in. I used an Anna Griffin template to cut the box out, I cut thank you on the Cuttlebug and went round each letter with a black pen to make it look like stitching. I finished with flowers, glitter butterflies and adhesive stones.

My Friend the Ladybird

I made this card for the Penny Black Challenge which was to have at least three shapes on your card, I also thought it would fit Rainbow Lady's Challenge which was Four Legged Friend. The stamp is Penny Black "Garden Gossip" coloured with Whispers Strokes and blended with a blender pen, the ladybird is coloured with Sakura Glaze. The background paper is a small piece left in my stash make unknown. I cut a heart from a piece of pearl paper which had been embossed on the Cuttlebug and edged with a silver peel off and added a sentiment and bow. I cut a scalloped circle with nestibilities and added some Flora Doodle flowers with a centre brad. I finished with some corners, a piece of beige lace and three blue buttons.

Good Enough to Eat

Truly Scrumptious challenge this week is a sketch with the theme "Good Enough to Eat". The stamp I used was from a "See D's" set, papers were from Basic Grey, G.C.D. and Daisy and Dandelion. I added Prima flowers with a pearl centre, ribbon and silver tag with sentiment. The photo didn't come out very well as the whole card looks very pale.
