Winter Pals


It's Tuesday, it's time for the new fortnightly challenge at My Time to Craft and that challenge is "Winter Pals". I have used yet another image from LOTV. coloured with Copics, and some Stickles on the fur. The bp is My Mind's Eye and Craft Creations, sentiment is also by LOTV, swirl is cut with a Quickutz die with adhesives stones added and finished with poinsettias from Wild Orchid.

Two more Angels

Hope everyone is having a good weekend, we have snow here today but I haven't needed to go out so been able to do some crafting. I have two more cards for my granddaughters today that's the last of them done now.


My first card has the image "Little Holly" from LOTV coloured with Copics, the papers are from my stash and Bo Bunny and I added some faux stitching. I finished the card with some pearls, lace, ribbon and computer generated sentiment.


The second card has another LOTV image - "Little Ivy" again coloured with Copics, the papers were free from Making Cards Magazine. I added a swirl and corner cut on the Cuttlebug with a Marianne die and a Quickutz die, and finished with a computer generated sentiment adhesive stones and a ribbon.

Christmas Peace

Good Afternoon, not had much time for posting and crafting this last week, I have been to see my granddaughter's in their Christmas plays, Advent Services etc, all were enjoyable and it was lovely to see them all doing their different performances and singing. Emma (6) was a narrator in her Nativity play and read really well, Jude (10) sang a duet at her Advent Service and sang beautifully, Abbie (10) played Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz and peformed beautifully, they all brought tears to my eyes and I was so proud of each and every one.

I am now on the last lap with my cards, just a few special ones left so today I am showing you another two for my granddaughters.

Blue Christmas


A card today for another one of my granddaughters, the image is a Magnolia Tilda from a couple of years ago, coloured with Copics. The papers are from my stash, the flowers and pearl brads are from Wild Orchid, ticket sentiment by Nina of Paper Cupcakes and the corner is once again cut out in silver glitter paper with the new Memory Box die. From my stash I added a piece of lace, doily Stickles and snowflake charm. I would like to enter this for the following challenges:

Vintage Christmas


Good Morning, hope the weather is fine with you we have had some snow over the past couple of days but it hasn't lasted too long though the temperature seems to have dropped dramatically this week. I have a busy week with three different granddaughter's Christmas plays to attend, but each one will be enjoyable. Well onto my card for today which is for our challenge at "My Time to Craft" which is Vintage Christmas, the image I used is from a Graphic 45 Scrapbook paper and I added some Stickles. The bp is by Bo Bunny and I added some gingham ribbon and some holly from Prima.

Icy Angel


I have a card today for the challenge at Cutie Pie which is "Pastel Christmas". I decided on pink for a change and thought it would be suitable for one of my granddaughters this Christmas, though I have yet to decide which granddaughter! My image is one of the new LOTV stamps - Summer "Icy Angel" I have coloured her with Copics and added some Stickles on her wings, I cut her out with a Nestie and added a silver doily behind. The bp is by Bo Bunny and the music is another LOTV stamp which I have stamped onto a scrap from my stash and both papers have been distressed. The border is cut with another of the gorgeous new Memory Box dies and I added some cotton lace with brads to this. The silver corner is cut with a Cuttlebug die and I added pearls, snowflake charm and a computer generated sentiment.

Fab 'n' Funky

I am delighted to have been invited onto the Design Team for the Fab 'n' Funky Challenge Blog, and am looking forward to working with their talented Design Team. This week will see the final challenge for this year as there will be a break for December but will be back again in January with new Challenges.



The theme this week is "Anything Goes" sponsored by "The Stamping Boutique" and I have used one of their digi images called "Smoochie Blowing Kisses". I coloured my image with Copics, the papers are by Bo Bunny, I used a heart doily and added a heart punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The flowers are from "Wild Orchid" with added branches cut with a Leone Em punch, I finished with a ribbon and computer generated sentiment.

Your Christmas Present


I have another Christmas card to share with you today. I have, for a change, used one of my Tilda Magnolia stamps, I coloured with Copics, the papers are from Papermania and my stash. I have used two new dies on this card one is the ribbon border die from Marianne and the other is one of the gorgeous new corner dies from Memory Box which I cut out in red glitter paper, I used Nesties circles and scallops, added pearls, computer generated sentiment, threaded ribbon through the die cut border and added a bow. Under the Weather


It's Tuesday again so it's time for our challenge at "My Time to Craft" but as from this week our challenges will run for two weeks so you will have plenty of time to enter in the future. Back to this week's challenge which is "Under the Weather", for my card I used a Penny Black stamp and coloured with Copics, the papers are by First Edition from the "Sweet Owl" pad I edged them with Walnut Stain Distress Ink and then distressed the edges. The sentiment is a clear Hot off the Press stamp, flowers are all from Wild Orchid and I added some gingham ribbon and pearls. I would also like to enter this card for the following challenges:

Warmest Thoughts


Good Afternoon, I've had a busy weekend as my two eldest granddaughters have been to stay, so no time for blogging but hope to have a look around once I have posted this card made a few days ago. The image is Lili of the Valley, coloured with Copics and the bp are once again from the "Lost and Found" pad by My Mind's Eye, I wasn't sure about these papers at first but am really liking them, I coloured around the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink Pad and matted onto Kraft paper. The sentiment is also by LOTV cut with Nesties, and I added pearls and some Stickles to the image and the flower. I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:

Let it Snow


Late today posting my DT card for our challenge at My Time to Craft where this week you need to include two of something on your card. The gorgeous snowman was a freebie digi some time ago from "Pink Gem Designs" and it's called "Snowman Soup", I coloured as usual with Copics and added a little Stickles. The papers are from my stash, the snowflake is cut with a Nesties, the swirl is cut with a Marianne die and the sentiment is by Nina of Paper Cupcakes. I added ribbon, pearls, TWO buttons and a piece of thread.

Once Upon a Time........


Good Afternoon, its been a beautiful day here in Lancashire, blue skies and plenty of sunshine though it is going a little misty now as the sun sets. I have been busy colouring some images for my Christmas cards and thought I would colour this one as it seems just right for the challenge at Crafty Hazelnuts this week which is "Whatever Lights your Candle". The image is a House Mouse stamp that I have had for years, I coloured with Copics and edged the image and the papers with Distress Ink - Walnut Stain before matting onto kraft paper. The bp is from a pad by cArt-Us and the other papers are from the Lost & Found pad by My Mind's Eye, the sentiment is by LOTV and cut with Nesties, the roses and gold berries are from Wild Orchid. I finished with a leaf, buttons, lace, ric rac ribbon and gold Stickles from my stash.

Lauren's Birthday





I have a card to show you today made for my youngest granddaughter Lauren who was three last Sunday. The photo's were taken at her party, she loves the Wizard of Oz and was dressed as Dorothy, she didn't want her photograph taken with the other girls so you can see her in her dress and shoes and the last photo is of my five other granddaughters but as usual you can't get them all to look at the camera and smile they just think its a big joke.

Well back to the card, the image is again a Lili of the Valley and coloured with Copics, the papers are by Magnolia and from my stash, sentiment is by Nina of Paper Cupcakes, I added a bow, a couple of small flowers and No 3 cut with a die on the Cuttlebug.

Bright and Sparkly




The challenge this week at Lili of the Valley is "Bright and Sparkly", I decided to colour this LOTV image "Millie Winter Window" as I have had it a few weeks and not yet used it, I coloured with Copics and added some Stardust Stickles to the snowflakes and holly leaves, and some Liquid Pearls on the berries. The papers are Papermania and Memory Box layered onto Kraft paper and I also added a square doily to the layering. The sentiment is also by LOTV, the roses and gold berries are from Wild Orchid and I added some gold Stickles to the sentiment and roses, the leaves were made using a Leone Em punch. I finished with a corner cut with a Quickutz photo corner die. I would also like to enter this card for the following challenges:

Someone Special



I have been busy trying to make some headway into my Christmas cards over the past few days and today I would like to share this one with you. I have used another of the Lili of the Valley Christmas stamps - "Twinkling Star" and I think she is so cute, I have coloured as usual with Copics and added some Stickles. The papers are from the Lost and Found Christmas pad by My Mind's Eye, layered onto Kraft paper, and I did a little machine stitching around these, the gorgeous flower is from Wild Orchid Crafts and I added a little gold Stickles around this and the sentiment which is also from LOTV and cut out with Nesties.

Good Morning, I hope you all enjoyed Halloween and didn't get too spooked, we didn't seem to have many Trick or Treaters again this year - still more choc's for me to eat!!!!!!!!

Spooky!


I have a GD card today made for the challenge at Gingerloft where I was asked to be a Guest Designer this week after coming in the Top 3 a couple of weeks ago. My image is a Gingerloft digi image coloured with Copics, I also printed a larger copy and cut one of the pumpkins out to use in the corner. I didn't have any Halloween bp so I used a piece of purple paper stamped a few dots and added some confetti bats, I cut two larger bats out of black paper and added some eyes. I finished with a computer generated sentiment and a skull and crossbone charm.

Christmas Wishes Sent to You


Good Afternoon, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend, seems to be very dark here though it is not yet 5 o'clock and the hour goes back tonight!!!! I hate the short days roll on Spring!!!! Now to my card made today for the challenge at Lili of the Valley, following the sketch by Bev. My image is "Feathered Friends" by LOTV and I have coloured, as usual, with Copics, the bp are all by Memory Box, the sentiment is also by LOTV, image and sentiment cut with Nesties circles and scalloped circles. I added Stickles Crystal to the snow and fur trimming, Stickles Gold around the circles and the card is finished with a bow and some bells attached with jump rings. Quite White


Our challenge today at My Time to Craft is "Quite White" - lets see lots of white spaces on your project, (photo looks very blue but the card is definitely white). Winter Wishes



Last Saturday I had a fantastic day out at the Lili of the Valley Colouring Masterclass, we were shown colouring techniques with Copics and Prismacolour pencils by Bev and Jacqui, I have tried today to use these techniques in the colouring of this image by LOTV. I have made this card for the challenge at LOTV which this week is BINGO I chose to follow the row, gems, flowers, ribbon and lace. As I said my image is by LOTV and coloured with Copics, I used Stickles on the fur and for some of the snowflakes to which I also added some adhesive gems. The bp is by Bo Bunny - I bought this last year and have never used it before, the Poinsettia is cut with a Marianne die and I added some Twinklets and a white pearl. The sentiment is from Crafters Companion and I finished with a ribbon bow and some lace.

Punches & Dies



Good Morning, Our challenge this week at My Time to Craft is Punches and Dies, so dust off your punches and get your die cutting machines out and maybe join in our challenge this week. The bp is from the Vintage Shabby pad by Tim Holtz, I distressed the edges and coloured with Distress Ink - Broken China, I also used this to colour the bottom of my card after punching it with a Martha Stewart edge punch. The leaf swirl is a Cheery Lyn die, the rose is from Wild Orchid and I edged both with some Stickles. My image is Charlotte Ketto by Stamping Bella and it is coloured with Copics. Orange and Black


Good Morning, it's time for a new challenge at My Time to Craft and the challenge is... Orange and Black, well that meant one thing to me..... Halloween! The image I have used is a digi I chose when I came in the Top 3 at Bugaboo a few weeks ago I thought it might come in handy as I don't have many Halloween images, but she is so cute. I coloured the image with Copics, I didn't have any Halloween paper so I covered some card with Distress Inks - Wild Honey, Dried Marigold and Spiced Marmalade, stamped some leaves on and added some bats confetti. Kaleidoscope of Colour



It's Tuesday, it's time for another challenge at My Time to Craft, our challenge this week is Kaleidoscope of Colour. My card has been made primarily for my eldest granddaughter's birthday which is on Thursday when she will be 12, she loves singing hence the choice of my image which I recently won in a challenge at Crafty Sentiments. I coloured my image with Copics and edged around with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink, I also used this colour with Rusty Hinge and Barn Door on the music which is a stamp by LOTV. Some of the papers are free ones and the other is a Prima, I used a Leone Em branch punch, flowers from my stash, ribbon, charm and a computer generated sentiment.

Just Between Friends


My first card since returning from holiday is my DT card for our challenge at My Time to Craft. This week the challenge is "Just Between Friends", my image is by Inkadinkado and coloured with Promarkers, the papers are by "My Mind's Eye". I made the large rose using punched petals and added some Distress Stickles, the small roses are from my stash, the heart is punched with a Martha Stewart punch, I finished with a metal "Friends", feather, ribbon, thread and button. Two for the Price of One

Good Morning, We are still on holiday for a couple more days and my Granddaughter Abbie aged 10 wanted us to make some cards, we only have a limited supply of craft items with us and decided we could make Christmas cards for the challenge at "Bah Humbug" which is to feature a girl on your card. Abbie's card is the first one for which she used a Hanglar image and coloured it with Promarkers, she cut some holly from a piece of Memory Box paper added this and a Christmas Greeting which doesn't show up very well on the photo.


My card was made using a Tilda image coloured with Promarkers, paper by Kaisercraft, flowers, gold thread and a Christmas greeting.

In Full Bloom



Tuesday morning already, this week has flown by while I am on holiday, and once again it is time for the challenge at My Time to Craft. Our challenge this week is "In Full Bloom" and for my card I have chosen a topper and papers from "Making Cards" magazine I added a little Distress Stickles to the rose, some ribbon, pearls, lace and finished with a sentiment courtesy of blogging friend Tammi.

Here Come the Girls



Our challenge this week at My Time to Craft is "Here Come the Girls". I made my card a couple of weeks ago for my granddaughter Abbie's 10th birthday but thought it would just fit this challenge. The image is by Hanglar coloured as usual with Copics and the papers are from the Chanteuse Collection by Kaisercraft. I used a Martha Stewart trellis edge punch, a swirl cut with a Marianne die, nestibilities, added a doily, ribbon, pearls, flowers by Magnolia, and a computer generated sentiment. It's Tuesday, so that must mean a new challenge at My Time to Craft and the challenge this week is "G is for....." I chose as my G.... Get Well Soon, the image is by LOTV and I coloured as usual with Copics, the papers are by Imaginisce and I used a Martha Stewart edge punch. I finished with pearls, flowers, ribbon and a computer generated sentiment.
