Things with Wings

Good Morning to you,

Well we have had load of snow overnight and it is so quiet in the village, nothing is moving both ways out of the village are steep hills and they are covered in snow, we haven't had the gritter round, but the sun keeps peeping through so it looks like it may thaw quickly.  Anyway it definitely looks like a crafting day, so that can't be bad.

We have a new challenge for you over at My Time to Craft,  and this week's challenge is

"Things with Wings"

I must admit I decided that this year if I could make a Christmas card to fit my DT challenges I would, so I wouldn't have to be rushing at the end of the year.  I only discovered this beautiful digi image after Christmas and have been itching to use it, I love the finished effect and decided it needed only a minimum of embellishments.

Card Recipe:

Digi Image - Delicious Doodles
Colouring Medium - Copics
Papers and Sentiment - Lili of the Valley
Extras - Gold ric rac and bow, stickles

Challenges Entered:

Dutch Dare Challenge - Winged Things
ABC Christmas Challenge - B for Bows or Boys
Fashionista Challenge - Red as the main colour
Merry Monday - Birds

  2. The sun was out here and I was hoping it would melt the deep snow enough for me to get out later - but now it's clouded over and cooling down fast. Looks like I might be stuck in again. Grrr.
That's a fab image Pat - beautifully coloured and the tartan bp really go with it so well.
Its a gorgeous Christmas card - and one less to make later.

  5. Oh my Pat, I agree, let your beautifully colored image do the talking and love it on the bg paper. What a fabulous idea creating your Christmas cards. I always think that I am going to start this early but never do, maybe this will be the year.
Stay safe and warm. We had some light snow and sleet last evening as well but it is suppose to be around 40 degrees here tomorrow so hopefully it will be gone soon.
    hugs...
