Good Morning Peeps,
A sad day around our village, on Wednesday evening there was an explosion at one of the cottages in a row of five which demolished the house and a lady died, others were injured but survived. Lots of fire engines, police and reporters still there today, they think it was a gas explosion but haven’t verified this yet. Their neighbours were evacuated and spent the night in the village garden centre, some have returned home but not the adjoining cottages as they have been damaged and will have to be assessed.
We have a new challenge starting today over on My Time to Craft where for the next two weeks our challenge will be:
“Tag It”
Colouring Medium - Copics
Sentiment - JOFY
Papers - My Favourite Things
Nuvo Drops
Have a good day!

A beautiful card Pat, such a pretty image and lovely sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSad news, the explosion was on the news but it doesn't seem reel unless you have a connection with it - I hope the injured soon recover and everyone can get back into their houses.
Take care.

Your card is beautiful Pat, love the image, the papers and colours are so pretty and a really lovely sentiment.
ReplyDeleteThat's terrible news Pat, so sad- I would imagine that your whole community is still reeling from the shock, I hope that the damage is not too bad and those poor people will be able to return home before too long. Thank goodness more people weren't harmed in the explosion.
Take care
xx

ReplyDeleteGorgeous creation hun, I love the papers & the sentiment is perfect!
ReplyDeleteSending you huge hugs, I hope the injured get well soon
Stay safe
Hugs Shell xx
Such a beautiful card, Pat, and I love the sentiment. Gas can be so frightening - we have no pumped gas here, so use bottled - hopefully safer. It's terrible that a life was lost and I hope the other people can be rehoused soon if necessary but it will leave a sadness in your village.
