Monday morning and I hope you have all had a good weekend and are ready for Christmas, I am not doing too bad just a couple of things to buy and a few presents to wrap but hoping to finish by the end of this week and then have a relax before the big day.

I hope you are all having a good week, it’s been quite cold here but dry and sunny.

It’s Wednesday so we have a new challenge for you today over on Fab'n'Funky and our host for the challenge this week is our lovely Judith with her choice of:

Anything but a Card

I made some Christmas tags, I cut the tags with a Sue Wilson die coloured them with Cosmic Shimmer iridescent mica pigment and while wet sprinkled on some Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Shakers I die cut branches in white glitter card with a Sue Wilson die and added a bow, sentiment, pearl and silver cord.

Well after all the rain we have had this week today has dawned bright, sunny and frosty, a beautiful late Autumn day, we could do with quite a few more days like this.

We have a new challenge starting today on My Time to Craft where for the next two weeks our challenge is to create:

A Christmas Scene

I am a bit out of my comfort zone without papers and a coloured image but I made an inked background with a moon and some hills with torn paper, Father Christmas and the sentiments were from a free magazine set, trees and stars are Lavinia stamps and the stags are Cardio and I added Cosmic Shimmer Glitter.

Hope you have all had a good weekend, we had a lovely family meal on Saturday to celebrate our eldest son’s 50th, fifteen of us went to a Turkish restaurant.  Zoe came home from university for the weekend and it was lovely to see her for the first time since September. We all had a really enjoyable evening.

For my card I used this lovely digi stamp from Whimsy I think he is such a great Santa, I coloured him with Copics. the paper is from my stash, the sentiment is by Creative Expressions, tree die is by Sue Wilson, I added a button and loads of Cosmic Shimmer Glitter and Ultra Sparkle Paste (none of which shows up on the photo!!)
