Thanks


The challenge this week at Paper Cupcakes has been set by Jessie and is to "Be Thankful" and make a Thank You or Thanksgiving card. My image is Tulips by Nina of Paper Cupcakes, coloured with Copics cut out with Nesties and edged with colour and glitter. The papers were free from Making Cards magazine, the border was punched with a Martha Stewart edge punch, the sentiment is by Cuddly Buddly and I finished with buttons and ribbon.

Sunflower Smiles


Our challenge this week at The Crafty Pad is stitching - real or faux and is being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish:

The DT were each given a digi image by Robyn to work with and mine is Sunflower Smiles, I have coloured with Copics and edge with Distress Ink Pad Spun Sugar. The papers are by Dovecraft and from my stash and I have machine stiched these together. I added lace, pearls, buttons and a computer generated sentiment.

Elegance


My card today is for the challenge at Bah Humbug which this week is "Elegance". I cut a silver tree out with a Marianne Die attached to some pearl card and a backing of pearl card embossed with a Cuttlebug Snowflake folder, all edge with silver. I added a white ribbon and bow and a Christmas sentiment.

Pick a Pocket





What an awful day it just never seem to have got light at all, still its been a good day for crafting! The challenge this week at My Time to Craft is "Pick a Pocket or Two" and for my DT card I used a Hanglar & Stanglar image, coloured with copics and cut out with Nesties. The papers are by Papermania from the Summer Bloom pad and a free one from Making Cards, I cut a pocket and edged with a Martha Stewart punch. The flower is by Magnolia, the sentiment is computer generated and I finished with ribbon and pearls.

Dog Gone It

The challenge this week at Paper Cupcakes has been set by Gloria Westerman and is to use die cuts on your project. The image I have used is "Dog Gone it" by Nina of Paper Cupcakes, I coloured with Copics and cut out using Nesties. The swirls were cut with a Quickutz die, the doily with a Marianne die, I also used Nesties to cut out the label which has the ribbon threaded through and the sentiment, which is computer generated. Papers are by Bo Bunny.

Christmas Globe







The Challenge today at The Crafty Pad is a Christmas Theme. The digi image used is Snowglobe by Debbie of the Crafty Pad. I cut it out with Nesties, coloured with Copics and added Stickles. The papers are from my stash I punched some snowflakes in glitter paper and added a greeting to the inside, where I edged the paper with a blue Copic and Stickles. Loving Christmas Wishes


My card today is for the challenge at Bah Humbug which is to use vellum. My image is a Christmas Tilda by Magnolia, coloured with Copics and Promarkers, and edged with Stickles Cinnamon. The papers are from the Spiceberry pad by Memory Box, the vellum is a free paper from Making Cards Magazine and I attached it with brads and made it into a pocket to hold my image. The sentiment is by Magnolia and I made the Poinsettia using a Marianne Die and the swirls were also from a Marianne Die.

My DT card today for the challenge at My Time to Craft which is anything with a Halloween theme. I have used the digi image Spooktacular Pumpkin by Nina of Paper Cupcakes and coloured with Copics. The papers are Cosmo Cricket, Bo Bunny and Daisy Bucket, I added Stickles, ribbon, computer generated sentiment and a skull & crossbone charm. Tag It


Late posting my DT project today, have been having all sorts of computer and printer problems and still can't do any printing, BUT, at least I can now upload my project for the challenge at Paper Cupcakes. The challenge this week has been set by Dru and is to make a tag. The image I used is Owls on a Candy Cane by Nina of Paper Cupcakes, I coloured with Copics added glitter around the edges then I matted onto red card and added more glitter around the edge, finished with some silver tinsel ribbon.

Favourite Cutie


The challenge at Bah Humbug this week is to use your favourite cuties and I just love this sweet Tilda image from the Christmas collection of last year. I have coloured her with Copics and the papers are Magnolia and from my stash, I added a Prima flower, silver leaves, a sentiment and ribbon. I am also entering this for the challenge at Papertake Weekly which is to use 3 of something on your card, I have used three silver leaves behind my flower.

Framed Flower

Something for a Friend

The challenge this week at The Crafty Pad is to make something for a friend, I decided to make a bookmark. The image and sentiment are digi images by Debbie of the Crafty Pad, I cut the bookmark out and punched the edges with a Martha Stewart edge punch and threaded ribbon through some of the holes, the backing paper is from my stash.

We are having a DT call at The Crafty Pad, this will run until the 29 October 2010 and anyone interested needs to have an active blog. Motor Madness


Good Morning! Motor Madness is the challenge this week at My Time to Craft and my DT card is made using a Red Hot Bed decoupage that I've had for ages, it included the car and flag. The papers are Joanna Sheen and from my stash, and my sentiment stamp is by Whimsy cut out with Nesties and I added a small piece of string behind and coloured in parts with Copics. Quite timely this challenge as it was my son-in-law's birthday on the 1st so as he likes cars it was quite suitable for him.

Spooky

My card today is my DT card for the challenge at The Crafty Pad, the challenge this week is Spooky and my image is by Debbie of the Crafty Pad, coloured with Copics. The papers are Graphicus, My Minds Eye - Bloom and Grow and from my stash. I paper folded a couple of bats and added some white Sakura Souffle pen for the eyes with a black dot.
