I made some Christmas tags, I cut the tags with a Sue Wilson die coloured them with Cosmic Shimmer iridescent mica pigment and while wet sprinkled on some Cosmic Shimmer Shimmer Shakers I die cut branches in white glitter card with a Sue Wilson die and added a bow, sentiment, pearl and silver cord.

Well after all the rain we have had this week today has dawned bright, sunny and frosty, a beautiful late Autumn day, we could do with quite a few more days like this.

I am a bit out of my comfort zone without papers and a coloured image but I made an inked background with a moon and some hills with torn paper, Father Christmas and the sentiments were from a free magazine set, trees and stars are Lavinia stamps and the stags are Cardio and I added Cosmic Shimmer Glitter.

I have cross-stitched this piece of Aida cotton with this image of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel my title is Oliver as this is just the image of our King Charles Spaniel Oliver who we had for over fourteen years.  I haven't decided what to use this for whether to frame it or get a coaster to put it into, so for the moment it is just a small mat.

Beautiful sunny warm day here for Good Friday, there will be a lot of Easter fun going on on Holcombe Hill where an Easter Service and activities are on all day, I can’t climb the hill anymore but can see from our front window all the people gathering at the top.

We had a lovely day yesterday, we went to Nottingham to see Zoe at University, we haven’t seen her since Christmas and it was nice to see her flat and her friends.  We had a walk around the city and had lunch in a lovely old church that had been made into a restaurant.  The day went too quickly but she will be home next week for Easter so not long until we see her again.

Good Morning Peeps,

I hope everyone is having a good week, we have had quite a good week after our really wet weekend when the River Irwell which runs through our village broke it’s banks at Ramsbottom just a couple of miles down the road, the motorway was flooded and had to be closed, all the roads around were congested so couldn’t get out to do any shopping, thankfully it was much better by Sunday.

Hamish the Dog

It's been a busy week this week, lots of appointments while trying to keep up with the decorating of the bedroom, next week promises to be quieter.

My card today is for our new challenge over on My Time to Craft where for the next two weeks our challenge is:

It's Raining Cats and Dogs

(so any project which features a cat, dog or both)

Quite a simple card, the dog image (I called him Hamish as he looks like a Hamish to me), the plaid background and sentiment are very old Kanban pieces, the hessian type paper is from my stash as is the piece of hessian type material.
