Bookmark


I did a little crafting this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks and thought I would enter a few challenges with this bookmark I have made for the challenge at Lovely Hanglar Only. The image is, of course, a Hanglar image which I have coloured with Copics cut out and mounted onto a piece of card. The sides were made using a Martha Steward edge punch, I punched some small flowers and added adhesive stones in the middle and finished with a heart charm on some jump rings. Santa Baby


My DT card today is for the challenge at My Time to Craft which is "Santa Baby". The image I used is by Lili of the Valley, I coloured with Copics and added some Stickles, the circle was edged with Distress ink and matted onto a gold doily, the bp is by Craft Creations. I finished with a ribbon, Prima poinsettia with a jewellery spacer and gem in the centre, charm and sentiment by Magnolia.

Snow, Snow, Snow



Good Morning, my card today matches the weather - snow, snow, snow, hope you are all managing to keep warm and safe in this weather. The challenge this week at The Crafty Pad is "Anything Goes" and the DT are using the snowglobe image by Debbie of the Crafty Pad. I coloured my image with Copics, paper pieced the bottom of the globe and added some Stickles, the papers are by HOTP and GCD, the flowers were cut on the Cuttlebug with a Marianne die, I added Twinklets to them and pearls in the centres. I finished with some cotton lace and added the sentiment which is by Nina of Paper Cupcakes.

Around the World


The challenge at My Time to Craft today is "Around the World Tour". My card is made using a drawing of the Eiffel Tower I got from a website, and edged with distress ink, I distressed the edges of the paper which is by Magnolia as is the large rose and the smaller ones are from my stash. I finished with ribbon and a heart punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

A Merry Christmas Snowman


Today is the last challenge of this year at Paper Cupcakes and you can pick up this gorgeous digi image by Nina for free. Our challenge this week has been set by Dru and she has challenged us to make a Christmas card using "A Merry Christmas Snowman" image and to use traditional red and green. I have coloured my image with Copics cut out with Nesties circles and scalloped circles for the red mirri layering. The bp is from the Papermania Henbury Lane Christmas pad, the heart was punched with a Martha Stewart punch, I added some Prima Poinsettia's, lace and tiny bells.

Let it Snow

Good Morning, from a beautiful sunny Lancashire, though there is still a little frost about. Well we had lots of entries for our competitions last week, my mini competition had 23 entries, the answer to how many eyelets was 74, and I had four people who guessed just one out I put the names in a hat and drew out PAT (My Work in Progess blog) who guessed 75. On now to this week's challenge at The Crafty Pad which is Embossing - heat or dry. The DT are all using images by our sponsor Robyn Fetish. I coloured my image with Copics and added some Stickles, the bp is from the Forever Friends Christmas Pad. I used the snowflake Cuttlebug folder, the sentiment is by Nina of Paper Cupcakes and I finished with lace, ribbon, pearls, and a pearl snowflake. The prize from Robyn this week is 5 digi images or digi papers.

Good Morning, very cold and frosty again this morning but the sun is shining on the hills and it does look beautiful. Now to my card for the day which is for the Challenge at My Time to Craft - Reindeer Greetings. The topper I used is by Kanban, the paper by Craft Creations, I cut the swirl with a Marianne die and added ribbon and sentiment.

Christmas Ornament



Good Morning, my DT project today is for Paper Cupcakes, where the challenge this week is brought to us by Carol and is to make a Christmas Ornament. I used two of Nina's images (one on each side) cut them out with Nesties and sandwiched them with silver also cut out with Nesties, coloured with Copics. The wreath at the bottom was made by folding paper pieces from my stash following instructions from a copy of Crafts Beautiful, all held together using ribbon.

The Crafty Pad - 100th Challenge

Good Morning, rather a long post for you today, but hopefully an interesting one. We are celebrating our 100th Challenge at The Crafty Pad the theme this week is "Anything Goes". I have made a set of a gift bag and card for the challenge and used two digi images by Debbie, which I have coloured with Copics, the paper is by Little Yellow Bicycle, I added some Poinsettia's from my stash, ribbon and sentiment.

Snowflakes



Good Morning, what a beautiful day it is here, not a cloud in the bright blue sky and gorgeous sunshine, though everywhere is covered with a layer of frost, so it's a day for keeping warm.
My DT card today is for our 99th Challenge at The Crafty Pad, don't forget to check in next week as we have some great prizes and surprises for our 100th Challenge. Our challenge theme this week is "Snowflakes" and the image we are using is "Snowmen" by Debbie of the Crafty Pad. I coloured mine with Copics and some Stickles, the paper is from Papermania Henbury Lane Poinsettia pad, the borders are punched in glitter paper with a Martha Stewart snowflakes border punch and I added the punched out snowflakes to my image. Bah Humbug - Last Challenge of 2010


Good Morning from a cold, frosty but beautifully sunny Lancashire, hope you are all keeping warm. My card today is my final GDT card for the challenge at Bah Humbug which is the last challenge of 2010 and is aptly named "Feeling the Blues". The image I have used is from Lili of the Valley and these cute bears and snowman have been coloured with Copics and Stickles, I cut them out with Nesties and put them on a lace doily from my stash, the papers are from the Forever Friends, "Santa's on his Way" pad. I cut the Poinsettia in white and silver glitter paper with a Marianne die, and finished with some silver beads, a stocking charm and a sentiment from my stash. Tag Along


My DT card today is for the challenge at My Time to Craft where the challenge is Tag Along - have a tag on your project. My image is by Hanglar and I coloured with Copics, the bp is from the Mistletoe pad by Memory Box. For my tag I used a luggage label, stamped with a Hero Arts Christmas Script stamp and edged around with a Distress Ink Pad, to this I added some flowers from my stash covered with Twinklets, punched leaves and swirls cut with a Mariane die, the sentiment is by Whimsy.

A Cup of Roses


My DT card for today is for Paper Cupcakes where the challenge this week has been set by Nilla and is to use Red and Cream on your project. My image is Teacup with Roses by Nina of Paper Cupcakes, I cut the image out with a Nestie die and coloured with Copics. The bp is by Bo Bunny, the sentiment by Cuddly Buddly and I finished with hessian, a rose, buckle (coloured with Copics), red and cream pearls and ribbon.

Winter




Beautiful sunny and frosty day here and I just want to post this card before my granddaughters arrive for the weekend. The card is for the challenge at Lovely Hanglar Only which is Snow/Snowflakes, I have coloured my Hanglar image with Copics, the bp is by Craft Creations, the tree is cut with a Marianne die and the large snowflakes with a Nestie die I added some twinklets to the snowflakes. Lovely in Lilac


Ooops sorry been so busy this morning trying to tidy all my craft room and turn it back into a spare bedroom as my two oldest granddaughters are coming for the weekend that I have only just remembered I haven't posted my GDT card for the challenge "Lovely in Lilac" at Bah Humbug this week. My image is a Hanglar Christmas image and I have coloured her with Copics and added some Polar White Flowersoft to her hat, the papes are from my stash I added a white doily and cut the lilac doily with a Marianne die and used some Kanban card. The sentiment is by High Hopes and I added a ribbon and some snowflakes punched out of glitter paper.

Window Fun

Good Morning, sun is just trying to break through all the mist so the day is brightening though still feels quite cold this morning. My card today is a DT card for the challenge of "Window Fun" at My Time to Craft. I used a pyramage image from my stash layered each piece onto green mirri card before layering up, the sentiment also came off the same sheet. The papers are from Forever Friends "Santa's on his Way" pad, I added ribbon Prima holly leaves and some red pearls as berries.

Glitter and Ribbon


It's my turn to set the challenge at Paper Cupcakes this week and have I chosen Glitter and Ribbon on a Christmas Card, the image we have used is this week's freebie "Whose Candy" why not hop over to Paper Cupcakes and grab this freebie and make a card. I made an easel card, coloured the image with Copics and cut it out with Nesties, the papers are from a Forever Friends pad and I dotted some snowflakes around. The poinsettia is cut with a Marianne die from silver glitter paper, I added a ribbon and sentiment from my stash.

Christmas Sparkle


Good Morning, nice and sunny here today hope its the same wherever you are. My DT card today is for the challenge "Lets see some Christmas Sparkle" at The Crafty Pad. The image we are using today is a digi image by Debbie of The Crafty Pad and is Holly and Harvey with Mistletoe - they are just so cute. I coloured them with Copics, added a white flat backed bead for the Mistletoe berry and edged the image with Stickles. The papers are by Magnolia, Forever Friends and some unknown bits from my box, I distressed the edges of the Magnolia Mistletoe paper and added Stickles around this too. Rudolph


Good Morning, a little late putting my GDT card on for Bah Humbug bug been busy clearing up the broken fences from last night's gales, two pieces blew out and smashed into little bits all over the drive. My Christmas Stocking



My card today is for the challenge at Lovely Hanglar Only where the challenge is "Punched Out". My image is by Hanglar and coloured with Copics, I added gold stickles to the stocking and Polar White Flower Soft to her hat. The swirl was cut out with a Quickutz die, papers are by Kaisercraft, sentiment by Magnolia, I coloured a small buckle with gold pen and stickles and slid it onto the ribbon. The inside has a Poinsettia punched out with a Marianne die, a punched snowflake and pearls.

Fancy Folds


This is my first card as Guest DT for the month of November at Bah Humbug where the challenge this week is "Fancy Folds". I have been meaning to try making a step card for a while and thought this was the ideal time. My image is by Lili of the Valley and I coloured with Copics and added some Stickles. Big Hugs


What a dark a miserable morning it is, doesn't look like its ever going to get light today, still a good day for catching up on some crafting. My DT card today is for the challenge at My Time to Craft where the challenge is Quick and Cute, sorry the photo is not very good, again due to the bad light over the last day or two. My image is by Hanglar & Stanglar, coloured with Copics cut out and placed on a scallop circle cut with Nesties and a Doily cut with a Marianne die. The paper is by Papermania - Summer Blooms, and I edged with a Martha Stewart doily punch, sentiment by Cuddly Buddly finished with ribbon and flowers.
